Sabzeh (Sprouts) was an immersive installation at the Aurora Cultural Centre (August 14–October 19, 2025), bringing together original music, dance, visuals and fibre art. Led by Parisa Sabet, the project brought women artists together to explore how we grow through connection. I created fibre pieces for the dancers and their movement, drawing on the image of sprouts interweaving into a living carpet of support.
Inspired by the Sabzeh grown for Naw-Rúz in Iran, the installation was also rooted in Omid Fallahazad’s story honouring the ten Bahá’í women executed in Shiraz. It reflected on the fragility of each life and the strength we find in one another.
